What is a ChatGPT top-up?

A ChatGPT top-up is a paid plan applied to the ChatGPT account you already use. It is not a new account, a shared login or a cracked subscription. You keep your existing chats, projects, custom instructions and settings, and the plan change happens on your own account.

That distinction matters for safety. Buying a separate account often means sharing a login with strangers, losing access when the seller changes the password, or starting over with an empty workspace. A direct top-up avoids all three problems. You stay the account owner; Free AI only handles the plan purchase and delivery.

How to top up ChatGPT step by step

1. Choose a plan on the live product list. Check the price, stock, delivery time and whether the product is automatic or handled manually.
2. Enter the email you want to use for order updates. This email is also used with the order number to track delivery, so use one you can access.
3. Pay through Stripe. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported. The checkout page shows the USD amount before you confirm.
4. Keep the order number. After payment you are returned to an order page that shows the delivery status and any instructions.
5. Check your ChatGPT account. Open ChatGPT on the same account and confirm that the new plan is active. If the plan does not appear within the delivery window, contact support with the order number.

The exact delivery mechanics depend on the product. Automatic top-ups are processed in payment order as soon as stock is available. Manual top-ups are reviewed by support because they may require additional account or workspace details. In both cases, the order page is the source of truth.

Payment methods and currency

All Free AI prices are listed in USD. Stripe accepts major international cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. You do not need a US-issued credit card, and you do not need to create a Stripe account to pay.

Your bank may add a foreign transaction fee or apply its own exchange rate. That fee is set by your card issuer, not by Free AI. How long does delivery take?

Automatic products usually complete within 1 to 3 minutes. Manual products, including Pro 5x, Pro 20x and Business seats, usually finish within 5 to 30 minutes. Delivery can take longer during a stock shortage or when the account needs manual verification. The order page updates automatically, so you do not need to refresh it constantly.

If an order is paid but waiting for stock, it stays in the queue in payment order. When stock is added, the oldest paid orders are delivered first. If you need to change the delivery email, contact support before the order is fulfilled.

Safety, eligibility and refunds

A direct top-up works best when the ChatGPT account is in good standing and eligible for the plan you ordered. Account restrictions, regional limitations or an existing subscription can affect delivery. If we cannot complete the top-up, the order is refunded in full the same day.

Common problems and fixes

Most failed top-ups fall into three categories: the payment was declined, the order is waiting for stock, or the account is not eligible for the selected plan. Start with the order page, then check the email used at checkout.
