Accepted payment methods

Free AI uses Stripe Checkout. Stripe supports major international cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The available wallets depend on your device and browser: Apple Pay appears on supported Apple devices, while Google Pay appears in supported browsers and Android devices.

You do not need a Stripe account to pay. Stripe is the payment processor; your card or wallet details are entered on Stripe's checkout page, not stored by Free AI.

  • Visa, Mastercard and other major international cards
  • Apple Pay on supported devices
  • Google Pay on supported browsers and devices
  • USD pricing, with your card issuer handling any conversion

Why prices are in USD

Free AI lists prices in USD because the underlying ChatGPT plans are priced in US dollars. Your bank may convert the charge into your local currency and add a foreign transaction fee. That fee is set by your card issuer and is not collected by Free AI.

Before confirming, check the USD amount on the Stripe checkout page. If your bank shows a different local-currency amount later, the difference is usually the conversion rate and fee, not a duplicate charge.

Common reasons a card is declined

International online payments are the most common issue. Some cards block cross-border transactions by default, especially on a first purchase. Others require 3D Secure verification, which may open a separate bank page or send a code to your phone.

A decline does not always mean the card is invalid. It can be a risk rule, a daily limit, insufficient funds or a mismatch between the billing details and the card issuer's records. Try another card or wallet before contacting support.

  • International online payments are disabled
  • The card is expired or the security code is wrong
  • The bank requires 3D Secure verification
  • The daily or monthly card limit has been reached
  • The billing country or postcode does not match

What to do after a decline

Do not retry the same card many times in a row; that can trigger additional fraud checks. Check the card in your banking app, enable international payments if needed, and try a different card or wallet. If the payment page shows an error, take a screenshot before closing it.

If money left your account but no order was created, contact support with the date, amount and last four digits of the card. Do not send your full card number, CVV or banking password. Stripe and your bank can trace the payment without those details.

Refunds and payment records

If a top-up cannot be completed, the order is refunded in full the same day. Refunds go back to the original payment method; the time to appear depends on your bank, but card refunds commonly take 3 to 10 business days.

Every order has an order number and an email receipt. If you need a company invoice or a payment record, email support@freeai.lat with the order number and the billing details you need included.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay with PayPal?

The current checkout is built around Stripe and the methods shown on the Stripe page. If PayPal is not shown at checkout, it is not available for that order.

Do you store my card details?

No. Card and wallet details are handled by Stripe. Free AI receives the payment status and the identifiers needed to match the order.

Why was I charged in my local currency?

The price is set in USD. Your card issuer converts the charge and may add a foreign transaction fee, which is why the local amount can differ.

What if I was charged but no order appeared?

Contact support with the date, amount and last four digits of the card. Do not send the full card number or CVV. Support can trace the payment with Stripe.
